Biography:
Born in 1969 in Santa Monica, California.
Received BFA from Pitzer College in Claremont, California.
Currently works in Yokohama, Japan and Brooklyn, New York.Shingo Francis works in painting, drawing and photography. His work has a minimal and abstract approach to the landscape with an emphasis on geographic scale and light. His most recent works are a series of ocean and desert horizons.
